Nova hires new vice president of treasury

Calgary-based resin and materials supplier Nova Chemicals Corp. has named Elice Lee as its new vice president of treasury.

“In this role, Elice will lead the Treasury team to meet our short and long-term financial strategies and targets in support of our aspiration to become a leading polyethylene producer in North America,” Nova officials said.

Nova said that Lee brings more than 20 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, from executing strategic transactions, key business decisions, and corporate financings. “We are confident that her expertise, leadership, and drive will play a key role in maximizing the efficiency of our financial operations to meet our short- and long-term goals,” they said.

Lee’s most recent position was as director, corporate development with Pembina Pipeline Corp., also in Calgary.

She has an MBA in Finance from Queen’s University.
